SUKUUN RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

At Sukuun, we take immense pride in creating handcrafted products that are made with love and care on a per-order basis. Every item is unique, and as such, we do not accept returns once an order is placed. We hope you will appreciate the artistry and attention to detail in each piece! From the textile weaving to the final stitch in a garment, our production is labour and hand intensive; which means that orders already underway cannot be cancelled or refunded. At present, we have a timeline of 20-23 business days for fulfilling online orders. Besides, our production involves handspun and handwoven textiles produced in remote villages of India, followed by hand block printing, hand embroideries, stitching and hand finishing of garments. All these processes are slow and labor intensive; and human errors and unexpected delays associated with them cannot be avoided many a time.

Please note that our fulfilment timeline does not include unforeseen and not in our control delays, that is in the event of a natural disaster, heavy rains, war, calamity, fire or epidemic. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chains resume smoothly when any of the above events have passed. Please also note that in such an event, no cancellation or refund is possible.

EXCHANGES AND REPLACEMENTS

If you receive a product with a genuine manufacturing defect, or if we’ve sent you the wrong item or size, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will gladly replace the item or, if the product is unavailable, we issue you a credit note for the value of the item.

WHAT QUALIFIES FOR A REPLACEMENT OR EXCHANGE?

- Manufacturing Defects: issues like stitching errors, fabric tears, or other faults that are the result of the production process.

- Wrong Item or Size: If we’ve sent you an incorrect product or the wrong size, we’ll make it right by offering you an exchange.

WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFIE FOR REPLACEMENTS AND EXCHANGES?

- Natural Variations: Because each of our products are handcrafted, subtle variations in the weave, embroidery, or eco-print may occur. These differences are not defects, but rather, a natural part of the handmade process and are to be celebrated as unique characteristics of your item.

- Customized Products: If your item has been customized, we are unable to accept exchanges or returns. However, we are more than happy to make minor alterations if needed, so please reach out to us if you require adjustments.

- Over time, as with all handmade and natural products, there may be signs of wear, and colours or prints may evolve. This is particularly true with eco-friendly fabrics, naturals dyes and eco prints, which can change slightly with use or exposure to light. This is a natural characteristic of our sustainable, eco-conscious approach and should be embraced.

- Products that show signs of being worn or have noticeable defects will not be liable for return. Sukuun reserves the right to accept/reject a return after inspecting the products returned to us.

SIZING ISSUES:

If you’re concerned about the fit of your product, we are happy to offer exchanges for a different size, provided the item is in new, unused condition. Please make sure to check our size guide before ordering to ensure the best fit. If you need assistance in determining your size, don’t hesitate to reach out to us – we’re here to help!

PRODUCT ALTERATION:

For products that need alterations (e.g., resizing or minor adjustments), we are happy to accommodate these requests. Please contact within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we will guide you through the process. Keep in mind that custom alterations may take additional time.

SALE ITEMS:

All sale items are considered final sale and cannot be exchanged, returned, or refunded. Please ensure you are happy with your selection before purchasing these discounted items.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- We highly encourage you to carefully review product details and sizing information before making a purchase. If you have any questions about the product, materials, or size, please don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re here to guide you and ensure that you are confident in your purchase.

- Since our products are made on a per-order basis, we do not accept cancellations once an order has been placed.

- If you’re ever uncertain about a product or need further clarification on any aspect of our collection, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are happy to assist!

- No refunds will be provided if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.

RETURN/ EXCHANGE POLICY

Once your return is received by us and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of the return. 
If approved, then your refund will be processed through a store credit note that can be redeemed on your next purchase. A credit note can only be used for in-store purchases on business.sukuun@gmail.com and cannot be redeemed in cash.

This process will take 7-10 working days after we receive the product.

 ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us by emailing us at contact business.sukuun@gmail.com  within 24 hours of placing it.
Express shipping orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

In case of cancellation of prepaid orders, you will receive a gift card of the same amount.
